英语200词读后感篇2
the call of the wild is a story about dogs.it describes that the dog named buck overcame the bad living environment and finally turned into a fierce beast like a wolf.this is the story about instinct, which also triggered my thinking about the call of wildness and human nature.the author's profound language expresses the call for the purest friendship and the wild precious friendship.at the same time, the novel also shows the cruel reality of "survival of the fittest" and "natural selection".
animals have wild natures, which are well hidden under the domestication of human beings.the dog named buck in this book originally lived happily in the happy manor and was taken to the north pole by its owner.you can imagine how big the gap between the living environment is,which foreshadows the wild nature of the dog to stimulate its instinct.in such a bad environment, only by awakening their instincts can they survive, otherwise they have to pay their lives.in the relentless extreme weather, the only way out is to move forward bravely.the cruel reality inspired buck's instinct, that is,his unyielding survival instinct and will.in order to survive,it learned a lot of skills and also learned to steal.after stealing,it can act as if nothing happened.at last,i was deeply impressed by the moment when he left his new owner.he screamed up in the sky, completely like a wolf, reflecting the purest feelings between dogs and people, which cannot be concealed.
the author observes the world from buck's perspective and endows the novel with unique characteristics.buck's world actually reflects the human world.through the cruelty of the world's reality,a person can stimulate his instinct and change himself strongly.especially when life and death are at stake, people will show an unexpected desire for survival.like buck,we have changed from a pet dog to a "wolf".in fact,it is the times that push us forward."natural selection" can not help but apply to animals,as well as to us humans.
英语200词读后感篇3
when henry david thoreau (1817-1862) set out for the walden woods in massachusetts on independence day, 1845, the united states was still a young nation. the book that he published in 1854, walden, is based upon his experiences as a youth.
the young don’t yet know how to live. they must experience the world and reflect upon their experiences in order to gain knowledge. the same is true of a nation. the book’s status as a classic shows that what thoreau had to say echoed in the souls of other americans.
and it’s not just his fellow countrymen who relate to the story – walden is read all over the world. if it can be enjoyed by non-americans, this is because thoreau set out to find what the basic principles of life are, no matter where we’re from. we may not agree with his answers, but we identify with his quest for meaning. this is probably why walden is still loved by so many people, even 200 years after thoreau’s birth, the anniversary of which will fall on july 12 this year.
thoreau looked around him and saw the beginnings of industrialism and found it ugly. he disliked the factories and he disliked what they produced. he objected to consumerism, suspectingthat it took people away from their real concerns. men and women lived lives of “quiet desperation” because modern life was leading them astray.
in walden, he would find what he hoped was really “essential”. as he writes near the beginning of the book, “i went to the woods because i wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if i could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when i came to die, discover that i had not lived.” this is the major theme of the book. he hoped nature could be his guide and his teacher.
we should not think that thoreau was simply withdrawing from the world. he didn’t go to walden only to stare into the surface of lakes and observe wildlife. he went there because he was disgusted by modern civilization. ironically, some of the people that thoreau met around walden wanted the opposite to him. if he wanted to escape from civilization, they wanted to get out of nature and leave it for a more exciting existence in the town.
thoreau was greatly influenced by ancient greece and rome. and in a sense, the philosophy of the book he wrote is very classical. socrates once said that the “unexamined life is not worth living”, but what was thoreau doing in his cabin in the woods if not examining life? not only was he examining his own, but the life of america and its people in general.

英语200词读后感篇5
a piggy named wilbur and a spider named charlotte became friend. the future of this poor piggy is a delicious course of the christmas feast. though ever considering escaping, yet after all he is only a pig. while charlotte--although be viewed as small and insignificant--said, "let me help you!" whereupon she used her silk to weave words such as "some pig" and "terrific" in her web, which are regarded as a marvel by human beings. those marvelous words alter wilburs destiny, and finally earned him a happy and peace future. nevertheless, at that moment, the life of charlotte almost completed its span...
the most impressive episode of this book is the notable friendship between charlotte and wilbur. a spider is a threat to a piggy at first glance, but loneliness suddenly makes wilbur be familiar with charlotte and surprisingly he found that this spider is extraordinary warmhearted.
what impressed us deeply is the words "you never die, ill save you!"by charlotte when wilbur was wailing "i dont wanna die! i dont!" to fulfill her promise, charlotte devoted all her lifetime and asked no rewards, until the moment she died.
such kind of friendship is pure and clean, only leaving the selfless love and pure kindness. when this sort of emotion has already been lacked seriously in contemporary society, this story undoubtedly moves the readers. maybe every reader envies that charlotte has a wilbur, and wilbur has a charlotte.
the word "goodbye" has already gone with the wind, accompanied by her silk, only leaving a charlottes web in everyones heart.
